Membership Rights Trampled.... Meetings DENIED!!!

WE MEMBERS SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND APPALLED at how we allow ourselves to be treated by tin-horn dictator and midget Machiavelli, Dave Holway and his hand picked gutless minions.

By the way folks..... there's an ELECTION about to happen,

We NEED to have some NEW PEOPLE step up to run in the current election, some people who will have the interests of the membership in mind and not Holway's,

.... candidates who will not be assimilated and cowed by Holway into the mold of the current vice presidents, etc....
(the highly overpaid lightweights who make up the gutless Holway rubber stamp bureau at Burgin parkway.)

If such candidates step forward, we should support them in the upcoming election..... I'll keep my eye for the ballots and keep you updated here.....

(There is at least one guy I've heard is considering a run for VICE PRESIDENT BLOCK 2........(that's DPH, DMR, and DMH) and he'd be GREAT, if he decides to run...I'm waiting to hear from him...)

Take a look at how Holway and the "Executive Board" at NAGE headquarters have cooked the "constitution" to prevent members from attending meetings and having meaningful participation in Union business.....

.....and compare it to how a true democratic union (MOSES), guarantees the rights of their members to attend meetings and mange union business.....via their constitution

The differences are STRIKING!!!! I assure you.

First, here's what the pathetic NAGE "constitution" provides for meetings: (Jesus, talk about giving bullshit a bad name!!, calling this piece of excrement a constitution)

SECTION 8.
All Local Units shall have at least one general membership meeting annually.
(Let me point out a few obvious deficiencies with this "requirement")
  • No notification requirements....
  • No agenda requirements....
  • No minutes taken or published
  • No rules of order, no procedural requirements
  • No requirement that business actually be conducted...
  • No quorum (why bother... there isn't any real business to be conducted)
  • THESE THINGS ARE NEVER SCHEDULED ANYWAY!!!(Alright, ALMOST NEVER....) -this is a JOKE on the Members
The moses web page sums up MOSES's meetings pretty well...(click the link real unions have meetings)
Participation:

Membership Meetings are held 9 times per year throughout the state
Includes dinner and social hour
(holy MOLEY! dinner and a social hour..... what did you ever get from NAGE.... NOTHING!)

Opportunity to vote on major issues and to express your opinion

Here's what the MOSES constitution provides
